At Heritage Hills Montessori Child Development Centre our philosophy is based on “Learning Through Play” and the Montessori method. The Montessori method involves children’s natural interests and activities and focuses mostly on intellectual development and the development of good work habits. We recognize that children have other needs in order to develop the whole self.

For this reason we offer a variation of the of the Montessori method that is more flexible and focuses on all areas of development through S.P.I.C.E.. The Montessori method is based on the prepared environment, a carefully planned arrangement of surroundings, equipment and materials. We will be fostering moral development, emphasizing such components as cooperation, self-control, order, responsibility, patience and common good.
